Program overview

Health care is most effective when it responds to the needs of the whole family. CAFU brings together health services, community outreach and social support to help children, adolescents and caregivers access care and maintain their wellbeing.

What we do

Continuity of care

Support access to priority health services, including HIV treatment and care, with an emphasis on keeping families connected to the support they need.

Laboratory and pharmacy services

Provide diagnostic and pharmacy support as part of coordinated health care and referral pathways.

Community outreach

Bring health information, community engagement and links to services closer to families.

Family and social support

Address barriers to care through counselling, referrals and support that considers the circumstances of children and caregivers.
